Lassie Toverrijst has been a household name in Dutch cuisine for over 60 years. Thanks to the large, dry grain, Lassie white magic rice is always a success, and thanks to the short cooking time, the flavour is preserved. Preparation:
1. put the rice (75 g per person) in a pot with plenty of boiling water.
2. Bring to the boil again and cook the rice for 8 minutes. 3.
3. remove the pan from the heat source and drain the rice.
4. leave the rice to stand for a further 15 minutes with the lid on.
5. stir the rice briefly before serving.
