Recipe idea for delicious saté sauce made with Calvé peanut butter:
Ingredients
1 squeezed lemon
50ml Conimex Ketjap Manis
1 tsp Conimex Djahe (ginger powder)
1 pinch garlic powder
1 tbsp dark cane sugar
200g Calvé Pindakaas
Preparation
1. In a pan, bring 400ml of water to boil with the lemon juice, ketjap, spices and sugar.
2. Add the 200g Calvé Pindakaas and let it slowly dissolve. Then let the sauce simmer gently over a moderate heat for a short time - Eet smakelijk.
About Calvé
In 1948, Calvé produced the first real pindakaas. After years of making salad oil and mayonnaise from peanuts, they now had the idea of making a paste from this raw material. A spread rich in unsaturated fatty acids and a source of vitamins and minerals, it was very welcome in the lean years after the Second World War. To this day, Calvé still produces its creamy, delicious pindakaas according to a traditional recipe.
