After World War II sataysauce came from Indonesia to the Netherlands and soon conquered a prominent place in the Dutch cuisine. Wijko, who offers fine sataysauce since 1958, has been one of the first Dutch producers to pop up. Made of finest peanuts and excellent spices, Wijko sataysauce smells and tastes excellently, not only with fast food, but also with original Asian dishes. Wijko sataysauce comes as a convenient paste which only has to be dissolved in water. To prepare your original Wijko sataysauce you just have to warm the dissolving paste thoroughly stirring it slowly with a spoon.
