An ancient Dutch liquorice brand: Venco. In 1878 the liquorice manufacturer started as Voornveld and Co. Gerrit van Voornveld plays with ingredients until he makes the most delicious liquorice in the Netherlands. In Amsterdam liquorice is popular. From 1900 Venco becomes more and more famous. The factory runs at full speed and also makes anise milk and sprinkles. Eventually Venco focuses on what it does best: liquorice in different flavours and sizes. School chalk and honey liquorice are favourites for many.Â
